# is an installation comprised of eight custom designed parabolic speakers, capable of shaping sound into focused beams or diffusing it into abstract clouds, allowing sound to be sculpted and used as a material not only to activate or illuminate the existing physical architectural space but also to create unique aural architectures and forms within the space that can be heard and felt but not seen. In this manner, # examines the ways in which sound informs our perception of space and proposes an alternate understanding of space that is in contradiction to vision.
