Inside/Outside - 2008
Inside/Outside is a formal exploration of the materiality of sound and notions of interior and exterior space. Sound is softly projected upward from the floor and then focused into sharp, penetrating beams by the surrounding parabolic dishes. These beams point inward in various directions, intersecting and inscribing the visitor with an intensity that is palpable.
